Reaction Time Experiment

The two eTools below are two different version of an experiment designed to compare the reaction time of two different hands. Instructions for use can be found in the CPM Statistics book in Lessons 4.2.2 or 10.1.1, or in the original paper that inspired the activity documented in the Journal of Statistics Education, 2001

Exploring and graphing data

Initial version of the experiment

In this version, students will be randomly assigned one hand to use. Each student should participate once.

Second version of the experiment

In this version, students will be randomly assigned one hand to use on their first try, then will participate again with their other hand - each student should participate twice.
